This production toured the Eastern United States in a 2 van production supported by TheatreworksUSA.

In this new musical version of the previous hit Barter Players' production, the story is set in the pre-snow wonderland of New York City. Director Brown wanted to highlight the versatility of the multiple locations of the play while capturing the magic of NYC in the winter as seen through the eyes of a young boy. For the tour we created a backdrop which felt iconic but not limiting by combining city skyline and Central Park imagery. Individual roving set pieces where used to ground each vignette and provide pops of visual color against the wintery drop. All pieces were designed to account for both practical small-scale tour needs and dynamic staging movements.
