H o l l y  M.  B r e u e r

Holly taught 6th-12th grades at Pittsburgh CAPA, a public arts magnet school, from 2018-2020. Her courses included introductions to scene design, prop design, and scenic painting. She also covered courses in scenery construction for both the middle and high school levels.

 

Previously, she has taught at the College of Wooster and Missouri Western State University where she was also the Production Manager and adviser for the stage management program.  Before moving to teaching, Holly was the Resident Scenic Designer and Painter for the Barter Players, a year-round theatre for youth group that operates under the organizational umbrella of Barter Theatre, the State Theatre of Virginia.

 

Holly holds an MFA in Scenic Design from Kent State University in Kent, OH. Prior to that, she worked as a Props Artisan and Carpenter for Syracuse Stage, a LORT C Company in Syracuse, NY. Additionally, she holds a BFA in Design/Technical Theatre from Syracuse University.
